Cookie Policy
Effective 2026-05-21
This Cookie Policy explains how Meetly.Online uses cookies and similar technologies on Meetly. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They allow a website to remember you across pages or visits. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage.
2. Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
nk_session | Authenticates your session after login. Required for the dashboard to work. | HttpOnly · Strict | 7 days (auto-renewed on login) |
notes-keeper:theme (localStorage) | Remembers your dark/light theme preference between visits. | First-party preference | Persistent until cleared |
dash:view (localStorage) | Remembers your dashboard layout choice (grid vs list). | First-party preference | Persistent until cleared |
3. Third-party cookies
When you go through paid checkout, our payment processor Freemius may set its own cookies on its hosted checkout page. Those cookies are subject to Freemius's privacy policy, not ours. We do not set or read those cookies from Meetly.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on the marketing site or dashboard.
4. Consent
Because we only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to function (session authentication and your own preferences), we do not require a cookie consent banner under the ePrivacy Directive / GDPR. If we ever add non-essential cookies (e.g. analytics), we will ask for your consent first.
5. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Note that deleting nk_session will log you out.
